February in Focus: Playwriting
It’s the final day of the festival! It has been such a success and a great joy to be a part of! I’ve learnt a lot from watching the plays performed (via staged readings), particularly in this work-in-progress fashion: style, structure, when to reveal, when to conceal, creating a solid ending and engrossing an audience. It’s been lovely chatting with the playwrights about their process and the work that they may do to further finesse their pieces. I’ve been trying to work on my play but feel that I am at a point where I need an outside eye – I think I’m just muddling the whole thing up now!

Every second counts!
