Today I continued organising my show for Sydney Fringe Festival. Slowly, but surely, the team manages to – inch-by-inch – chip away at the massive mountain of work and planning we have to do to get this epic and truly ambitious feat up and running! So that’s pretty much taken up all of my time and energy! Know of any good directors in need of work in Sydney in September?
I then met up with a couple of actors whom I worked alongside last year touring with Brainstorm Productions. It’s great to see how they’re both going (one of them is currently performing in An Officer and a Gentleman so a huge congratulations to her)! It’s so worthwhile to catch up with positive people in the industry, people who are in the same boat as me, who are working tirelessly to get to a good place in this industry, to maintain their career – who are studying, performing, making opportunities happen for themselves. I’m definitely finding that in certain aspects of this industry, it is who you know – so I’m out there meeting those people!!!
